Molly's Diary 5/19/09

Hello Cat lovers
It is me again "Molly" from North Carolina, USA.
I have to tell you the latest news in my house this week.
I hate to be a cat who complains but if it isnt bad enough that
I have to share my home with these "other Cats" that my human rescued but now she has really done it.

My human has gone and rescued one of them things called a PUPPY!
She bought that little fur ball into the house and I thought to myself "This is going to be an experiance" and if that little mutt thinks he is going to take over then he has a hard lesson to learn because us CATS run this house!

The first night he was here,none of us got any sleep.
He cried and carried on that nonsense all night long.
I buried my head in the covers to drown out his noise but he still kept me awake.

Dont them silly dogs know us cats need our beauty rest to stay looking all pretty and such?
Well after the 3rd day they let that dog out into the main part of the house to "get to know us cats". BIG MISTAKE

He must think he is a cat or that we like him because he just ran up in our faces like he has been here forever.
He sure is a brave little mutt.

Well, I must admit that I have smacked his nose a few times with my paw to warn him not to take me for granted because I am known for my little attitude and I dont take too kindly to dogs who think they are the boss.

Ok, I secretly admit he is alittle cute but please dont tell anyone that I admitted that because I have a reputation to uphold, ya know?
I do have to chuckle a bit when I see him chase Kuki and Smores under the bed. They dont like him either but he is a little fella so we have to tolerate him, I guess.

I wonder if he is always going to stay little or if he is going to one day be a big ole dog?
Hummmmmm? I might better start treating that dog with some respect before he grows up and decides to pay me back for giving him a hard time.

No time like the present to get started getting on his good side so here goes nothing.
" Here doggie, doggie come get this nice rawhide bone that I found just for you" and remember that good ole Molly is your buddy forever. (Silly dog) I bet he believes that I really like him.
Oh well, what he dont know wont hurt him.
