My cat just vomitted and there was 4 caterpillars in his vomit. They seemed dead and they were green on the bottom and purple/brown on top. This is not the first time this has happened. They definitely looked like caterpillars. What the heck?

Sounds to me like he may have eaten them from outside then if you say they look like caterpillars.

Hopefully he has learned his lesson and wont do it again as they obviously didn't agree with him.

Cat worms are quite small in most cases and definitely don't look like caterpillars.

But it would be a good idea to make sure he gets regular worming tablets especially if he is the sort of cats that east things from outside.
