It has seemed time has swiftly passed by all too quickly. From the time I first met you, at the Animal Shelter, your cries and pleading that said "take me home with you" You were only six months old then, and they were going to end your life that day. But the kindly shelter worker, knowing I had no money to buy you, gave you to me as a gift. I could never thank her enough. You were wonderful and loved by everyone. A very special cat you were.
We played hide and seek in the house, and fetch. I remember how much you loved to play with the little mouse toys I bought you . You would throw them up in the air and then pounce in them.
What a wonderful cat you were.
You have grown old over the years and I guess we grow old together in many ways. Your meow became elderly. I could see your face aging, your body wearing down.
How I dread to say good bye to you dear friend. My heart aches.Wait for me on that rainbow bridge, till we meet again. And always know, you were loved.
