My Cat has hairballs all the time

by Nann

My cat keeps throwing up, not her food but hair and mostly bile. I have been giving her hair ball treatment for years so nothing new there. She doesn't look sick at all, just throws up everywhere. My husband will make me get rid of her if we can't stop it.

Hi
hairballs is something that most cats have at sometime through out their lives. it comes from cleaning their fur with their tongue and some of the fur being digested. it has to come up one way or another.

if your cat is a long haired cat then it is advisable for you to groom them yourself at least three times a week to help remove some of this loose fur and help reduce the amount the cat ingests. but even some short hair cats will also benefit from regular grooming.

perhaps make it a nightly ritual of having him sit on your lap and you spend a few minutes gently brushing him with a special hair removal brush.
