my cat is bad!

my skittish cat keeps puking and leaving fecies all over the bed. what do i do without putting her to sleep?

Megan, what can I say. Your question was very blunt and came across as very uncaring. Your cat is not being bad, cats don't have the same behaviors as we do and we have to understand how a cat thinks etc so that we can look after our cats the best we can.

There are many reasons why this behavior is occurring but i'm wondering if it is mainly caused by anxiety. A anxious cat will not feel happy or settled at home and they try to make themselves feel happier by scent marking. When they scent mark with feces then it is serious as this is a step up from urination scenting. the puking could also be an indication of anxiety.

However My recommendation is to take your cat to the vets first to make sure she does not have any underlining illness which is causing the vomiting etc. One this is ruled out then you know it is behavioral and you can start to tackle the problem from there.
