My cat is coughing up white stuff

what does it mean when my cat is coughing up white fluid (thick)he has been like this for about 2 weeks.

Sounds to me like she may have a chest infection and this is mucus from it. The other possibility is a hairball

If it has been two weeks then I would suggest that maybe it would be agood idea now to take her to see a vet in case there are complications which needs treatment.
