My cat is having paw problems

My cat keeps licking her paw and she won't put her paw at all down to the floor. Is there something seriously wrong with my cats paw?

Hi
sounds to me like she may either have something stuck in the paw or she has sustained an injury which is very sore.

Take a gently look at your cats paw. gently press to open the toes and see if the cat reacts to your touch in a negative way.

If there is something stuck in it it will have to be removed as soon as possible.

There may even be damage to a claw which may have to be removed too by a vet.

if you cannot see any obvious cause for your cats difficulty in walking you will have to take them to see a vet who will be able to do a more thorough examination and treat accordingly.

i hope you can find the cause of your cats problem soon as it must be in some discomfort at this time.

best wishes kate
