my cat is lethargic why?

well my 3 yr old female cat has become lethargic.i dont think she is too happy as most of the time she alwayz wants to sleep.recently she doesnt eat alot and i can also feel her spine...im really scared of losing her because she is part of the family.is there anything i can do to help her?...please help!!!! xx

yes there is one thing you can do to help her. Take her to see a vet as soon as possible. her symptoms suggest something is very wrong but in many cases a vet can help. it is impossible for me to say exactly what is wrong with her, it is likely that she will need some blood tests to find this out. She may have thyroid problems, heart problems, blood problems, the list could go on and on and only tests will be able to help diagnose her and then to properly treat her.

Please do not delay, the sooner you see a vet the sooner she can be helped.
