My cat is not the same since other cat died.

My cat used to play and was happy as could be. Then the other cat we had ( her best friend) passed away. Now calli just lays around all day and acts tender in her stomach. She's 4 years old. What's wrong with her?

well there could be two possible causes for her behavior.

Either she is grieving for the other cat which is completely normal. Please see my page here

Or she may in fact be unwell herself and this can cause cats to at depressed too. the fact that you say her tummy seems tender may suggest this. In which case I think a trip to your vets would be the best option. At the very least you will have peace of mind knowing if your at is unwell or not.
