My Cat is Traumatized.

by Lauren

My cat Newman went to the vet a day ago. They did something to him to make him pee, and he is traumatized. He won't eat or drink, or move. He stays under the bed for long periods of time. Will it get better? Please, help.

It is important that your cat at least drinks especailly as they have had some urinery problems. Telephone the vet and ask their advice as they are aware of his particular case and are the best ones to advise. It is better to this sooner rather than later.
Until then be patient with your cat and offer them food and fresh water but don't try to force them.

Traumatized Kitty
by: blu

My daughter's cat was traumatized in a house fire. She was very skittish and scared of ordinary things for about 3 months. She is fine now. I think cats are some of the most resiliant animals on Earth. Give your cat plenty of time to get over the trauma. Don't try to rush things.
