My cat is very sick

My cat is very sick. About 2 weeks ago my cat stopped eating and drinking and didn't want to move much, he would try to hide under a bed or would just lay there all day. I was able to get him to eat and drink and after about a week seemed to get better.(I wasn't able get him to eat or drink till the third day) Then he started to eat cat litter and now he got sick again but now it's even worse cause now he can't move at all on his own and I cant afford to take him to the vet and he's only about 5 years old, do you know whats wrong or what I can do to fix it?

Hi
I am so sorry, but it is impossible to tell you the cause of your cats illness. He needs to be seen by a vet urgently. Telephone your vets to see if they have a payment plan or if they know of somewhere you can take him for free of cheaper etc.
Sadly without an examination it is impossible to say what could be causing his problem, but it does sound rather severe and i suspect that even if we did know what was causing the problem he would still need medication which could only be provided by a vet.

As an cat owner all you can do is to try and get him to see a vet and to make sure that he does not dehydrate.

I am so sorry but sometimes there simply is no easy answer to these things.

I hope you can get him some treatment soon

best wishes kate
