hello, my cat is wheezing when she breathes. is this bad? Also, she is overweight and i do not over feed her. Any suggestions?

Hi she may just have a nasty cold in which case it is important that she drinks plenty of water and has a snug place to rest.
if the breathing gets particularly heavy then you should take them to a vet as soon as possible in case an infection has settled on their chest.
regarding the weight issue, as long as you are feeding the right amounts the only other thing you have to make sure that they get enough exercise.
