My cat keeps licking his hip.

and he's very lethargic....he won't let me touch him, and usually he is friendly.....and he just sleeps all the time....??

Hi, I don't like the sound of this, I suspect that he may have either, fallen, or been bitten in that area. the licking is a sign of discomfort and the lethargy too is an indication of ill health. my advice is to book him into see the vets as soon as possible. if there is an injury then infection could set in if not treated soon.
