my cat seems sick

my cat has been sleeping all day and seems restless and everytime i try to pet it it squeals at me and when it tries to walk it walks really slowly and very close to the ground and seems to be in pain,what could be wrong?

Hi Dana
To be honest with you the symptoms are to generic to be able to say what could be wrong. The only thing you know for sure is that he is in pain and so needs to see a vet as soon as possible.

Ditto, follow Kate's advise. Don't let your cat suffer. There is something wrong with your cat and she/he needs immediate attention. All the best to you and your cat. Please post a note to us know what your vet says.
