This is Trixie.

This is Trixie.

Hello,

I have been worried about my cat ,Trixie, ever since I discovered a small growthlike lump on the back of her neck. It isn't very big, but I think its growing.Yesterday, I noticed a huge change in her voice! She is a 5 year old Russian Blue, and she has always had a clear loud meow. Now she has a low gruff voice. Is this normal? Should I take her to the vet?

Answer by kate
yes, simply because you dound the lump if nothing else.
Whther or not the lump has anything to do with the change in your cats voice it is impossible to say. gain the vet will be best placed to ascertain this.
It is better to be safe than sorry and if you think the lump is growing it is best to get it looked at before it gets too big.

best wishes
Kate
