My female cat questions....

Hi I had a Q about my female cat ... my female cat is missing hair on her ear and she also has a cut on he ear as well.what does this mean? P.S. SHE MAYBE PREGERS...

well it is difficult to see from the picture but it looks like she may have been scratching her ear a lot which has caused the hair to be rubbed off and for a sore to appear.

This may have been caused by several things:
Over grooming due to anxiety
Fleas
Ear mites
A bite of sting

Make sure she does not have ear mites

Check for fleas

If you believe that it is neither of these. then clean the ear with warm water and see how it is over the next few days. Watch your cats behavior to see if she is bothered by the ear and is making it worse by over grooming it. If this is the case then a trip to your vets may be your best option as she may need some antibiotics to make sure an infection doesn't take hold. He will also make sure that there are no growths etc which can sometimes occur on the ear.
