my kitty has a lump on her tail

a couple of days ago i was petting my 6 month old kitten and i noticed a lump on her tail. im not sure but it seems to be getting bigger. i cant see it because her tail is so bushy, but i dont think its on top of the skin. when i try to touch it she cries and tries to bite my hand. im scheduling a vet appointment tomorrow but i dont know when i can go. im in law school which lasts pretty much all day. please tell me what it might be. im really worried about her. thanks

Sorry i can't tell you what the lump is, but all i do know is that if she is crying out when you touch it, it definately needs treatment froma vet. So you are doing the right thing by getting her an appoitment, they should have some evening surgeries i would have thought.

the lump may be from a bite which has become infected or it may be a growth but don't worry yourself too much, i'm sure the vet will be able to sort it out for her.
