my new dog and cat...

i have just got my new dog,and my cat who i have for severval years has taken a great disliking to him.the dog is not a puppy,but is fine with the cat and would never hurt him.but the cat has moved to next door and i have to go round and get him if i want to see him,wich is rather anoying. so i was woundering how to get my cat to come back home,and how to get it to like the dog.

please read my page on this site called introducing cats to eat other under the cat training nav bar option. the advice there is the same for introducing a dog to a cat. The process needs to be handles slowly and calmly and with patience will help the animals relax with each other.
