Jazz had hard beginnings and had to be taught how to play when I first had him at four months old. He has always been 'personality challenged', but he redeems himself by wanting and needing affection. - It's a man thing though - he doesn't want to be too overtly needy! He is very handsome and bit Mr. Darcy'ish at times, but he kind of nudges (and bulldozes) his way into your affections, until you love him to pieces! My other cat, Moycian, is very tollerant of him - in spite of his 'attitude'. He's a lucky boy!

Moycian is like your best friend - but better, in some ways . She never demands, like my other cat Jazz, but quietly sits beside me purring. She's just happy I'm around. She is an example that you just have to love those around you to be well loved and cared for in return.

She is a big cat isn't she, I don't know if she is a little bit over weight or whether its because of her breed. She does look like a Maine coon type cat and they are large cats with long fur.

You're so right about loving someone to get love back and our cats are great examples of this. All we really give them is food and a warm place to sleep but they do seem to generally really love us in return.

Interesting name you gave her, i wonder if it has a meaning. I have never heard it before.
