new kitten

I recently got a new kitten 10 weeks old. I have a 6 month old kitty the same breed whose been alone for 4 months with me but he doesn't get along well with the new kitten. He keeps biting him but is also licking him on occasion. Its gotten better but i don't know if this is normal?

yes this is normal cat behavior. Hopefully he is just playing. Sometimes cat play can look rather nasty to us but its not and they are not using claws or biting hard etc.
Cats don't always get along though and so it is important when you first introduce a cat to another one that this is done in such a way to build confidence in each other to prevent aggression etc. Please see this page for more on this
