New mother cat keeps looking for me

My one year old cat gave birth to 6 kittens upon labor she cried to me and each time i left the room she came and got me by crying to me....now that she has given birth she is coming out of the room to find me and cox me back in the room she is in with her kittens just curious why

Your cat is very young and this is her first litter. It is nor unusual for a young cat to feel uncertain about what to do and may seek comfort and reassurance from her family i.e you.
Don't worry, just give her plenty of TLC and she will gradually become more assured and happy looking after her new family.
