One yr old female cat acts strange about every other week

my one yr old female cat acts strange about every other week she will go around the house meowing like crazy rubbing her belly on the floor with her butt in the air...if you pet her in this state she will undulate her rear end...what gives?

Female cats will display this behavior on and off for none months of the year or until they get pregnant. Having her spayed would not only prevent unwanted kittens but would also help your cat to lead a more contented life and less frustrated and hormonal. etc.
