I have a kitten that we found by her self. we have been giving her kitten formula. she does urinate when stimulated, but she has not passed any solid fecal matter. is this normal? how opften should the kitten go. her eyes are open.

well this is difficult to say as it depends on how young she is. Also it is strange that you found her on her own are you sure that the mother cat was not around somewhere. if the mother cat did abandoned this kitten then it could be that this kitten may have something wrong with it and it was rejected as being the runt of the litter.

All you can do is to keep stimulating the tummy after feeding and also get them to a vet as soon as possible.

Also keep an eye out for the mother cat, she may have just left him temporarily.

i have several pages about how to bring up orphan kittens which you may find of help. here is the first page
