Penny - Our Cats Name

No particular reason. We got her from the local SPCA when she was one year old. They had named her Dot because of a small white dot on her nose. We wanted something with more character. Our other cat was a female rescue (had to put her down after 18 1/2 years) and we named her Popcorn because she jumped around a lot. We also called her Poppy.

when we first got her she would immediately lie down on our bellies like a flat panceake, and she was nothjing but a panceake, penny for short, now she is 13 months and still as lovely as months ago, our penny. she even comes rapidly when we call her name, almost like a dog.
