Cat Memorial for Salem Kaiman Mechanic

Salem was my best friend for over a decade. I devoted my life to caring and loving the homeless FIV guy that walked into my life and chose me to love him. He was the smartest, meanest, sweetest, most high functioning and most amazing cat I have ever known. He acted like a human, not animal. In the the last few months he rallied back from a brain tumour, kidney failure, glaucoma and blindness to stay with me as long as he could. He knew I needed him so much and he needed me. He did not want to leave us but yesterday his body said it was time. I pray he is making friends in cat heaven and that he will always be with me. The house is lonely today without his sweet catface. His spirit haunts the halls of my home and my heart.
I will love him my whole life and miss him forever.
