Why does my tail go all bushy when they are about to feed me?

Answer from Kate
Umm I'm guessing its because you are excited to be getting some food. Although most cats bush their tail when they are scared it is also a sign of excitement. You should see my Byron cat when hes running along side us down the street, excited and bouncy and all fluffed up.

best wishes Kate
