why is my pregnant cat chewing all the fur off of her butt?

it sounds like she may have some sort of irritant that is causing her to over groom. It could be mites, a skin condition or an allergy. Poor thing must be in some distress if it is so bad that she is pulling the fur out. She will need to be seen by a vet so that he can diagnose the problem and treat it effectivily. Hope she recovers soon.
