Problem with Otis My Cat

Hi Kate,

I have had my female cat "Otis" for 15-1/2 wonderful years. Recently, she has been vomiting more often then she used too. In addition, sometimes when she is excited, scared or just eating at her dish, she will occasionally leave a couple of drops of urine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi well she is getting on in years now and she may simply be losing some control of her bladder as some humans do too.

Vomiting can be a sign of many different problems and so it is difficult to say what could be causing your cat to vomit.

However especially as these symptoms are new and that your cat is getting on now it would be a good idea to have a vet take a look at her. There may be something which is affecting her and which can be nipped in the bud now before it has a chance to develop.
