Re homed Kitten can't walk

I have a 4 month old kitten I just adopted from our local shelter. She was spayed had all her shots, they were giving her vitamins for a draining eye, other then that they said she was good. 24 hours later she is not walking. She eats, drinks, stools okay, Plays and kicks with her legs but will not stand. Took her to the vet who says they have no clue. Lab test and several x-rays later she does have an infection for which they treated but no diffrence with her condition. I have always gotten my cats from cat rescue centers but this seriously has me in mixed emotions. She is a sweet heart but there has to be someone with the same problem who has a clue what could be going on?

Answer from Kate
My advice is to go back to the cat rescue center you got her from. If they are a good one they should have a vet on hand to assess her and in the worse case scenario if her condition is treatable and going to be expensive they should shoulder some of the responsibility for cost of treatment.

Her condition does sound very strange in deed and so speak to the shelter about her history. where did she come from, how long did they have her for etc. It really is in their interest to ensure that they rehome cats who are healthy otherwise their reputation could be damaged.

i hope they can find out what her problems is and successfully treat it for you.

best wishes Kate
