rescue kitty and my current cat

Hello, please help I have a question. I currently have a cat at home who is 10 months old he is healthy and had all his vaccinations. I am getting another 6 month kitty from a rescue centre this friday and have been told he has catflu but has now had all his vaccinations and doesnt have anymore symptoms. Is this safe or a risk to my current cat? Thank you Candice

If I was you i would be guided by the vet advice. Normally cats aren't rehomed until they are completely over the flu.
The vet may think that it will be ok as the vaccinations will protect your kitten.
As i say check with the vet.
