Sassafras

After bringing this kitten home, I wanted to wait until a name occurred to me after observing her personality for a few days. After a week, I'd made a list of three dozen names and decided to run them past the kitten and my other cat Spok. I'd say, "What do think of the name whatever?" and wait for their reaction. After about 2 dozen names with no reaction from either of them, the name "Sassafras" popped in my head, so I ran that past them and both of them started purring like crazy. I followed up that with, "What do you think of another name that wasn't Sassafras?" and it was met with dead silence - they stopped purring altogether at the same time. I tried "Sassafras" again and they both started purring again at the same time. I tried out a few more names, randomly throwing in "Sassafras" and got the purr-on only for Sassafras. after seven or eight more names.
