Second litter

my cat has jus had her second litter of kittens. from her 1st litter i kept a boy who is now 4 months old. the problem is that he keeps getting milk off her when she is feeding the new kittens and he keeps goin in the box with the kittens. is his behaviour normal?

yes this is normal. he will continue to try his luck until the mother cats puts a stop to it. he is still quite young though and is still learning about solid cat food.

You must be careful that your female cat doesn't have too many litters so close togeather as this will put a strain on her own and the kittens well being. you should also make sure your male kitten is neutered soon.
