sheds black dust and worms

wherever my cat lays, under her is tons of black "dirt" and some very tiny black wiggling things... I can't find any information on this. Can someone help?

often flea eggs look like little black specks of dirt.
As for the wiggly things they could be flea larvea or some other larvea of a skin parasite.

if you can see them when your cat gets up then she has a very bad infestation as this is not common. She will probably need to be bathes and throughly groomed as well as treating for fleas using proper medication. the home will also have to be treated too.

if you do not think it is fleas then you will have to get the vet to check them out so that he can prescribe the right treatment. either way it does sound rather nasty and your cat will have to be treated urgently.

I have some pages about cat fleas which you may find of further interest here https://www.our-happy-cat.com/cat-fleas.html

best wishes Kate
