Should I take my cat back to the vets?

by Imelda

My cat is 6 years old and had an inner ear infection. She started by hiding and walking really close to the floor. I took her to the vet and they gave her medicene for her ears and she was not urinating or haveing a bowl movement so they gave her an enema. She had worms. They gave her medicine for that. It has been 7 days since now She goes to urineate but only once a day this is not normal for her. She had a couple of bowel movements. Is she having more problems or do I have to be more patient.

Hi
well I would wait a little longer and see how things settle down. It is a good sign that she is urinating and having bowel movements but it may take a little longer for her system to get back to normal.

Keep an eye on her and see how she is in another three days or so. If you still think that she is having some problems or shows signs of distress in any way then take her back to the vets.

Hopefully she will be back to her normal self again soon

best wishes kate
