Why dose my cat run away every time I try to pet her? I seem like she is scared of me. I would like her to be more affectioate.

It could well be that she not used to human contact. It all depends on how she was treated during the first few months of their lives. If they do not have enough human contact during that time then they find it difficult later on in life.
