My ninth month old cat is usually happy. He has had all his shots and is fixed. Last week he had a bad case of diarrhea and then vomited the biggest hairball I've ever seen. Now this morning when i came home he had diarrhea again and vomited another hairball. I had to bathe him because of the mess he left on his legs. Ok so... Now hes rubbing his bum all over the place. on the carpet, floor everywhere. His tail seems to be wagging alot too...

WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM????? Y is he doing this?????

Hi
Sounds to me like you will have to groom your cat more often and keep an eye on him for hairballs if he is so prone to them. Poor guy hairballs can be rather distressing.

As for this current behavior it sounds to me like he is still in some discomfort in his rear end. This could be caused by the diarrhea or he may have a problem with his anal glands which can become blocked. I would advise that you have a vet take a look at him to see if there is something causing your cat some discomfit. This behavior of dragging their behind on the carpet is a classic sign of a cat in some discomfit.
