Something coming out of cats butt

I just noticed my cat had a patch of hair missing at the base of her tail on her right side, there is a scab. When I went to look at it I lifted her tail and on her back leg next to her butt there was little squirts of not sure but I think it was poop just they were little and round, and when I lifted her tail some squirted out. Was wondering what could have happened over night to cause all of this she is a outside cat. I went to take a picture but she cleaned herself, then I started to think maybe it was that anal gland stuff and had nothing to do with the scab she got. I just thought you had to actually squeeze the anal glands in order for the stuff to come out or can it come out on it's own?

Well yes it could be cased by a blocked or nfected anal gland or it may be another nternal infection. The scab may or may not be related but n either case your only opnion is to get them checked by a vet as soon as possible in case there is an infection or even a mite problem which may be there which has also possible caused the infection.
