something is wrong with my cat

my cat is about a year old and i just noticed that she has green puss-like discharge coming from her vagina...i'm not sure if this has been going on or not, but i wanted to know what it is and what to do for her...she is an indoor cat, and has never been outside,

Hi any sort of yellow/ green discharge coming from any part of your cat is often a sign of an infection.
It is certainly not normal and definitely needs to be checked out by the vet.
You did not say whether or not she is spayed and if not if she has been going into heat etc this may have a connection with the current situation but as i say she needs to be checked by a vet first.
