Hi
Something must have happened for this to start. cats don't do things for no reason, unfortunately sometimes it is difficult for us humans to discover the cause.

This pooping in the house is called Middening. Because this is a common issue but one which can be difficult to sort out I have written a page about it on my site which will give you more background information as to why this happens and how you can help your cat. Here is the page

thank u Kate for the help. we r going to give this a try, hopefully it will work. As we found her as a stray, actually someone left her on our doorstep over 6 years ago. and she as bben a very loving and great pet. all our other pets n her use to get along. now this sudden pooing in the house. no new things have happened, and she is quite healthy, so we will try this step of reintroducing her iinto the house hold. thanks again Lynn.
