Spring and Cats - Sometimes a terrible Mix

I love spring, the cats Byron and Shelley Love Spring, well who doesn't? Baby animals being born all over the place, baby birds, froglets, baby field mice lovely.
BUT
As much as I love cats there is one thing that is very upsetting about them. their love for killing things.
This is Byron's and Shelley's first spring with us and unfortunately we have discovered that their favorite past time is now hunting down the baby animals in out garden. We hear the screeching of the frogs as they try to get away and we have found several dead baby mice in the garden.
of course it's no good telling them off, they are only doing what comes naturally to them and they look at me with their innocent faces saying, "this is fun".
I guess that is what nature is all about and i will just have to get over it. Stiil who could be angry with a face like that. :)
