STORMY

by sleyster
(ky)

I have a 12 year old rare blue exotic short hair persian. I noticed that he had a tapeworm when he started using the bathtub as a litterbox. I treated him for worms, but now I am noticing that he has blood in his urine and mucus/blood (bright red)in his stool. He sneezes constantly too. I am taking him to the Vet next week. What could be wrong? I am soo worried!

Unfortunately I am not a vet and so cannot diagnose. However you are doing the right thing and taking him to the vet as soon as possible. Doing that in itself is the only and the best thing a cat owner can do and worrying will not help.

Lets hope it is nothing to worry about and can be treated easily. I would be interested to know what the vet says. if you could let me know by leaving a comment on this post, i would be grateful.

best wishes Kate
