Hi Farah
If your vet has cheked her and can't find anything wrong with her physiacally then her problem is purely behavioral. This could be learned behavior from before you had him or it might be that he reacting to something in his new home.
Try confining your cat to one room for a week with his bed and toys and litter tray and toys. Visit him regualalry and give him lots of attention and play games with him using toys not your hands. Hopefully this week will give him time to settle down and feel happier in his home. If he feels happy and secure in his home and feel comfortable with you then the aggression should subside.
Don't worry your cat just might need some more time to adjust, but with lots of love and care hopefully he will settle down and be a happy cat.
