can you bath a 4 week old kitten with no mother cat to care for him?

My first question is why would you need to bath him. cats do not need bathing very often , usually they only need it if they have got very dirty or are show cats.

I wouldn't recommend bathing a kitten so young. If he does get some thing on him that he can't get rid of then just wipe him down with a wet cloth.
