Timid kitty with some behaviour problems

I have a six months old spayed female snow bengal kitten. She came into our home 8 weeks ago. She will not approach us, she runs and hides from people and would choose to hide all day then interact. She has also peed four times on our beds, twice while we were in it! I feel this is related to her anti social behaviour, when I can pick her up usually when she is laying on the futon she will cuddle and purr. When you try to pet her she shrugs up like she is afraid of human touch. Can you help..........if she continues to pee my husband will get rid of her and due to her personality I don't think she will have much success anywhere.

Ah poor baby. She is obviously very nervous and may not have ha much human contact or has been baly treated in the past.

8 weeks is not long at all for a over nervous cat. My best advice is for you to read through these pages and see if they ae abl to provide more help.
