this reminds me of a cat my youngest daughter had some 20 years ago...she called him Thomas and loved that cat so very much...he would get on her back and then just kind of wrap himself around her neck..they were inserable...one day he just disapperad and we lived in the country so we figured he was out "tom catting" around but days, weeks went by and no Thomas...he was like a tuxido cat in markings..she cried and cried and i tried to get another cat for her but she wasn't interested...oh,we had cats but Thomas was special...anyway to make a long story short about two years later in the early spring we were outside and heard a cat meowing...my daughter said thats Thomas...but i said no not after all this time...but she insisted it was and started calling him..suddenly this cat comes almost crawling in he had been in many fights it appeared...and was so thin...but their was no mistaken Thomas in his tuxido and the way he went straight to my daughter...he wrapped himself around her neck...and was so hungary..we took him to vet ...but he didn't live but about a week ...he found his way home so he could be by the one he loved and loved him most in the world...I have often thought that someone stole him as we lived by Wappapello Lake in Missouri and the gravel road was well traveled and some one just waned a cat....oh i'm sure he could have told some stories as your cat...
I am so glad you found your kitty...our animals mean so very much to us....thank you for sharing this...brought a very good memory back for me..showing that our cats, kitty, kittens can love us as we do them.....

Tucker is a Cat that survives
He is back with Candale and he thrives
He was scared by a train Now he's back home again
Thank heavens God gave him nine lives.
Cheers Mike.
