Cat Pose of contentment

Buttercup is my 11 month cream colored mackerel tabby. Buttercup loves to sleep on the dryer. He was soo content in this photo. He looks so funny, I just had to share! Thanks for looking!

What a great face. He looks like he may have a little Siamese in his cat genes somewhere along the line. This is a classic Siamese face pull.

Great name too. Bit of a mouthful to call out though. I suppose you him call butter for short.

I knew a ginger cat who also had a similar look and when he meowed it came out in a loud yowl instead, again another classic Siamese trademark. Does Buttercup have a distinctive meow?

I must admit there's nothing more pleasing than a cat who looks as content as Buttercup does in this picture. What more could a cat want, a warm gently vibrating place to sit. Umm makes me kind of jealous.

Thank you for sharing your cat pose picture with us, I know everyone will love it.

Kitty genes
by: Judith

Buttercup was really relaxed in this photo. As far as I know he is a mackerel tabby. Not sure what's in his genes. I bought him at a pet store, he was either 8 or 9 weeks old at the time. They told me nothing about his parents. The only kittens they had that day there was Buttercup or his brother and they looked like twins. But thank you for the comment on Butters. And I wish also I could sleep on a way place like the dryer as he does!

Louis - Great Cat Pose

Louis the champion cat poser

Louis the champion cat poser

Louis is a three year old rescue tabby/white with a completely unique personality. He adores fuss on his terms and is the master of ridiculous poses, totally trusting us with a completely exposed belly most of the time.

His facial expressions are almost human at times. He is a prolific mouser and we are often treated to an early morning mouse fest.

Love it, love it, love it. Our Shelley and Byron both like to pose like this from time to time. I call it there teddy Bear pose. So cute. I love the look on their faces when they see me watching them in this pose, it says "what?" like this is the most natural sitting position for a cat. Got to love them haven't you?

Louis certainly is a star poser, you must get lots of pleasure from him on a daily basis. How lucky we are to have our cat friends in our lives. Kate

Brownie Loves To Stretch Out

Brownie the cat stretching out

Brownie the cat stretching out

Brownie is a male brown-and-white Ragdoll cat who has a huge bushy tail that makes up half his body size. As you can see in this photo, he flops down anywhere (the sofa, the flat cardboard cat scratcher, by the base of the refrigerator because its warm), and just stretches out. This happens almost daily. Its amazing to see how long he really is when he stretches out like that!
