UTI for 16 yr old female cat

I Just called the vet to get my female cat Reggie in for a check up- she is urinating in large puddles all over the house and not in a cat box that is clean. It may be several days before I can get her in. She seems to be in pain-is there anything I can give her until we get to the vet?

I dont know think there is any thing you can give her to ease this discomfort. All you can do is encourage her to drink plenty of fresh water to help flush the infection through.
