vaccinations for my kittens

A friend of mines, cat just had kittens & I'm waiting on my bundle of joy to be ready to come home with me. What vaccinations are needed for kittens? Also, how long does a kitten stay with its mother?

It is important that a kitten stays with his mother until he is fully weaned this is between weeks 8 and 12. i have a page about kitten weaning which you may be interested in here

As for the cat vaccinations well it does depend sometimes as to where you live as In some places some diseases are more prevalent than others.

However you will need to telephone your vets office to find our what they recommend for the area that you live in.
