White Fluid coming from pregnant cat.

hello,

My pregnant cat is secreting a white fluid from her, i guess you would call it her vagina? Anyways this fluid started leaking out just yesterday. I am curious to know what this might be, is it an infection and how serious is this problem. Any info you could give me would be helpful.

I will admit to not knowing the answer to this as I am not a vet and so would not know if this is normal or not.

In my layman's opinion I would say that it is either a natural excretion (as that area is want to do from time to time) or that it is an infection of some kind. if I were you I would telephone the vets office and just ask them the same question. If it is normal they will tell you if it is not then you will have to take her to the vets anyway.
