why does my 3 year old cat keep crying

my 3 year old cat has just had her second litter,they r 4 weeks old.since 2 days ago she constantly cries all the time..she follows me evrywhere and cries.i feed her regulary and shes drinkng a lot more than usual..why is she crying all the time??her kittens are healthy and seem happy yet she keeps crying and wandering around the house.

well it may be a mixture of feeling insecure and uncertain i.e the pressures of motherhood, and is looking for comfort from you. Crying is often either a attention seeking ploy or a slight distress call. Also she may be feeling unwell in some way after the birth. It may be advisable to have her checked out by the vet in case something happened during labour i.e an infection etc.
